What face shape do I have?
Upload one front-facing selfie. We locate 478 facial landmarks, measure four distances, and classify your face shape. Free, no sign-up, and we show you the measurements we used — you can check them in a mirror.
The ratios we measured
| Face width ÷ face length | |
| Jaw width ÷ cheekbone width | |
| Temple width ÷ cheekbone width |
What to do with this
Face shape is mostly a shopping shortcut: it tells you which glasses, haircut and necklines tend to flatter proportions like yours. It is not a ranking, and no shape is better than another.
How this works
We run a face landmark model on your photo, take four measurements (face height, cheekbone width, jaw width, temple width), and convert them into three ratios. The length axis uses the same scale as the main site — face width ÷ face height — so "wide" and "narrow" mean the same thing in both places.
The classification into oval / round / square / heart / oblong / diamond / triangle comes from the same rules stylists use when picking glasses and haircuts. It is a useful heuristic, not a scientific measurement — proportional faces sit on the boundary between two shapes all the time.
Your photo is processed in memory and is not saved. Nothing is posted publicly, and there is no account.
Frequently asked questions
Can my face shape be two shapes at once?
Yes, often. Classification uses thresholds, so a face sitting near a threshold can flip between two labels depending on the photo, the lighting and the angle. Treat the result as "closest match", not a fixed fact.
Why did I get a different result from another app?
Different apps use different landmarks and different thresholds, so labels drift. Ours are listed above — if you disagree, compare the ratios with a tape measure and decide for yourself.
What photo gives the best result?
A straight-on selfie at eye level, hair pulled back, neutral expression, and even lighting. Tilted heads distort the ratios more than anything else.
Is this medical or scientific advice?
No. It is a geometry toy with practical uses. Nothing here is medical, psychological or legal advice.
